Do you have the unique skill of hand cutting silhouette portraits? Would you like to work in a fast paced environment crafting one of a kind treasures? If so, we are looking for Silhouette Artists at Disneyland® Park! Our Silhouette Artists create unique memories for our Guests that is a Disneyland® tradition for generations of families.
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Proven experience cutting and drawing free-hand silhouette renderings with scissors
- Produce a single silhouette portrait within 90 seconds
- Ability to create on average, 60-100 silhouettes within a shift
- Must be able to produce detailed, quality silhouette portraits
- Multi-tasking; can produce silhouette while engaging with Guests
As part of the application process, you will need to provide examples of your silhouette work. We are specifically looking for a minimum of 2 samples of the following:
- Single silhouette cut out (can be adult or child)
- Double silhouette cut out (two different silhouettes in a single cut out)
- Silhouette of a dog or cat
You will need to share a link (URL) to access the samples when you complete the application. There will be a question asking for the URL link.
Cast Members interested in any Disneyland Resort hourly transfer are encouraged to talk to their Leader before submitting an application.
Cast Members must meet the following Resort Hourly Transfer eligibility guidelines:
- Must be a currently active cast member (not on any type of leave of absence)
- Must be in the current area for 4 months
- Availability must meet the scheduling needs of the new department
- Performance record must be clear of any work performance/attendance issues (written warnings or suspensions) within the past 4 months
Render an accurate likeness of our Guests' silhouette portrait using paper and scissors free hand in front of Guests. You will produce multiple silhouette portraits in a short period of time, while maintaining a conversation with Guests. In addition to single Guest silhouette portraits, you will also cut silhouette portraits of multiple Guests and animals such as dogs and cats.
The pay rate for this role in California is $25.00 per hour.
